Well. It’s getting down to the wire. This weekend will be the last full weekend before we depart for Spain next Sunday. And while I think we’ve done a good job of getting ourselves ready, you know how that goes. I’m getting the funny feeling that I’ve forgotten something that’s kind of important.
Admittedly, I haven’t finished typing out the whole itinerary, but we did find something this week, that I think will prove to be extremely helpful over the course of the next couple of weeks while we’re away.
A friend of mine recommended an app called TripIt a few days ago, so I took a quick look at it and decided to give it a try. I have to say that so far I’ve been very impressed. Essentially the app allows you to enter in all of your various activities and confirmations to various events and even just email confirmations to the app and it will produce for you an itinerary on your phone that you can have with you at all times while you’re away. Here’s a screenshot to give you an example.
if you’re an organized planner like I am, then you’ll have to admit that this is a pretty cool way of carrying all the names ,addresses, phone numbers, confirmations, and even maps with you on your phone while you’re half a world away. So look it up and let me know what you think about TripIt.
